East York is a suburban community just outside the city of York, where school music programs, church choirs, and community theater supply most local music. Local bars and restaurants host occasional cover bands and acoustic acts. York and Harrisburg musicians drive in for weekend gigs.

Look for performances at the high school auditorium, community center, church fellowship halls, local bars and restaurants, and a park pavilion. East York has no large dedicated music venue.

Local and regional artists perform here, with musicians from the nearby York and Harrisburg scene occasionally passing through.
