Lutherville is a suburban community just north of Baltimore where school orchestras, church choirs, and community theater productions provide much of the music. Baltimore and Towson area musicians sometimes drive up for local concerts and private events.

Music happens at local churches, school auditoriums, community center rooms, and park pavilions. Small restaurants and coffee shops occasionally feature acoustic acts.

Local and regional artists perform here, with musicians from the nearby Baltimore scene occasionally passing through.

Students and residents should join school ensembles, attend Towson and Baltimore open mics, and offer to play at Lutherville community center events and church concerts.
